Posted

1 8-ounce block cream cheese,

  softened

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

5 ounce can smoked ham, broken

  into small pieces

1/2-3/4 cup shredded cheddar

  cheese

Ground walnuts or pecans, optional

Mix cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder and onion powder by hand in medium bowl until texture is smooth and creamy. Add smoked ham and cheddar cheese. Mix well with a spoon until evenly coated and ham and cheese are in small pieces. Pour into a smaller bowl lined with plastic wrap (to form a ball shape), level off the top, cover with another piece of plastic wrap; place in refrigerator to chill for at least 3 hours. When ready to serve, take the “ball” out of the bowl, take off the top wrap, flip it onto a serving tray, shaping it into a rounder ball if desired or leave as the shape of the bowl. Remove the bottom wrap. Sprinkle additional cheddar cheese or walnuts or pecans on top if desired. Serve with your favorite snack crackers.
