Aiden Radermacher, President

Tell us about your farm and family. I live on a 250-cow dairy farm, where we milk with four Lely robots. My parents are Aaron and Jessica Radermacher, and I have seven siblings.

Why did you join FFA? I joined FFA in seventh grade and thought it would be fun to go and compete in agriculture-related activities.

What is your role in the chapter? My role in the FFA chapter is to be a leader for the FFA members and a good example of what it means to be an FFA officer.

What FFA contests do you compete in? I have competed in milk quality and in dairy cattle judging, and this year, I will be competing in farm business management.

What do you look forward to most in the upcoming FFA year? I look forward to going to state FFA and planting our FFA test plot.

How has FFA shaped you as a person? It has shaped me by teaching me to learn new things and trusting the people around me to get our agenda accomplished.

What are your duties on the farm? On the farm I do daily scraping and fetching at times; I do field work from making hay to spreading manure and tillage. I move heifers, vaccinate and dry off cows.

What are your future plans? My future plans are to attend Ridgewater College for dairy farm management.
