One of my biggest complaints in the written or spoken word is the use of acronyms. If an article has an acronym without a description the first time it’s used than I am not very interested in reading it. For example, if the MCHD reported a milk truck rollover, I would prefer that it be described as the Monroe County Highway Department (MCHD).
