A company building two 4,300-cow dairy farms in Adams County already is planning an expansion of one of the facilities. Officials for Milk Source of Kaukauna expect to finish the New Chester Dairy sometime this spring, said Bill Harke, director of public affairs for Milk Source. For the first time in 30 years, the University of Wisconsin-River Falls dairy pilot plant has a new manager. Michelle Farner, a licensed cheesemaker who has worked at two different small Wisconsin dairies, has taken over the responsibilities at the facility.
